Ich habe weiter gesponnen. Ein wildes Spinnen mit wilden Fasern. Gefärbt mit Pflanzenfarben. Ich habe einige schöne Fasern von WolleNaturFarben erhalten. Daraus wurde ja schon ein Kissen. Es fühlt sich gut an die einheimische Wolle zu verspinnen und dann zu verweben. Immer wieder finden sich Pflanzenreste wie Disteln darin. Da spüre ich ein wenig Sommer. Langsam erwacht die Natur bei uns. Sehnsucht macht sich breit mit jedem Sonnenstrahl.
Spinnen wurde ja von Mahatma Gandhi als Symbol der Unabhängigkeit demonstriert. Wir sollten uns erinnern, dass wir zu abhängig von großen Firmen und Werbungen sind.

LöschenI'm trying that too. It's difficult here in Germany, especially in rural areas. In East Germany, family businesses were not tolerated during the GDR era. It was very difficult for them to develop after the fall of the Wall. But I'm trying too. Best wishes, Katja
Your plant dyed fibers are wonderful, a cascade of color, I have made a few of what I call landscape cloth collages from windfall here in New Mexico. I am not all that skilled at stitching but I love foraging and dyeing cloth with what I find. It connects me to the land and to the old ways. This is Marti
